HONG KONG's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced US$650 per TEU rate increase for cargo from the Far East to the Mediterranean and Black Sea to be implemented on July 1.
"In order to continue providing quality and sustainable services, we are announcing a revenue restoration programme in the Asia Europe trade," said the company in a notice to trade.
"With effect from July 1, freight rate for westbound traffic from the Far East (including Japan) to the Mediterranean and Black Sea will be increased by US$650 per TEU," OOCL said.
