One more diver died at the Sewol
One more diver has died during the search for bodies at the "Sewol". It was the second such death among divers mobilised since the ferry sank on Apr 16. The diver fell unconscious when he was pulled to the surface by fellow divers on May 30. The man, in his forties, was bleeding from the face and unconscious when he was pulled to the surface.
The diver received CPR and was taken to a hospital with a helicopter but was declared dead there. The exact cause wasn't known.
The diver had been cutting open parts of deck 4 to make searches easier. Since the sinking, 288 bodies have been recovered but 16 people wree still missing.
No new body has been retrieved since May 21.
