The trade route between the Mexican ports of Dos Bocas, Tabasco, and Jacinto Port of Houston Texas, in the United States, which will connect these trading points every 15 days, has been inaugurated.
The Director of the Port Authority of Dos Bocas, Roberto de la Garza Licon, anticipated the opening of five other routes from Dos Bocas to US ports and neighboring Mexican states.
He also confirmed that the Lamol Maritime Transport Company was responsible for opening this set route and scheduling the other five routes.
The shipping service will take place through the multipurpose vessel M/V Stella Maris II with 83 meters in length and a capacity of up to 3,000 tonnes of containerized cargo, bulk and general cargo, with transit time of about two and a half days connecting the Port of Dos Bocas with Houston’s Jacinto Port every fifteen days.
