MOL announces north east Asia to Australia AU2 loop change August 4
JAPAN's Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) has announced a rotation change to the North East Asia Australia Service (AU2) jointly affecting partners "K" Line, NYK, OOCL and Evergreen.
The rotation change will improve schedule integrity and also provide a direct service from Qingdao to Australia and shorten transit times from Shanghai and Ningbo.
The first vessel of the new rotation will be the 4,578-TEU OOCL Nagoya calling at Yokohama on August 4.
The AU2 new rotation will be Yokohama (Sun/Sun), Osaka (Tue/Tue), Busan (Wed/Thu), Qingdao (Fri/Sun), Shanghai (Tue/Wed), Ningbo (Wed/Thu), Melbourne (Tue/Thu), Sydney (Fri/Sun), Brisbane (Mon/Tue) and back to Yokohama.
The present AU1 rotation remains the same: Ningbo (Sun/Sun), Shanghai (Mon/Tue), Xiamen (Thu/Fri), Shenzhen-Shekou (Sat/Sat), Hong Kong (Sun/Sun), Sydney (Thu/Sat), Melbourne (Mon/Wed), Brisbane (Sat/Mon) and back to Ningbo.
