OCTOBER) was committed to compatriots for $25 mill. In an off market deal, German controlled
kamsarmax SUMATRA (82.5K BLT JAN/2013 WUHU/CHINA) was sold for $24.9 mill. In another off
market transaction, modern panamax PERUVIAN EXPRESS (79K BLT 2012 COSCO DALIAN/CHINA) was
sold to Greek buyers for $19 mill. In the supramax sector, Crown design SUPRAMAX 63.5K EX
SINOPACIFIC DAYANG shipyard slated for delivery this June, attracted $25.1 mill also from Greeks.Undisclosed interests have quietly purchased Japanese controlled supramax VALENTE ACE (56.6K BLT
2008 IHI/JAPAN CR 4X30T) for $20.5 mill, having being inspected by seven buyers (including four
Greeks). Clients of Oceanbulk of Greece have agreed to pay $26 mill for prompt supramax resale
HULL 10705 EX OSHIMA SHIPYARD IN JAPAN.In the handysize segment, US based buyers committed
modern handy ORIENT TRIBUNE (33.5K BLT 2011 SAMJIN WEIHAI/CHINA CR 4X35T) for the soft
level of $19 mill. Japanese controlled logger NORTHERN LIGHT (29.7K BLT 2001 SHIKOKU/JAPAN CR
4X30T) has been concluded to Greeks for $10.8 mill while compatriots have purchased one year
younger MOUNT FISHER (28.4K BLT 2002 IMABARI/JAPAN CR 4X30T) for $11.75 mill.Having being
floating in the s+p market for half a year, nineties vintage logger IDEAL BULKER (28.4K BLT 1994
IMABARI/JAPAN CR 4X30.5T) has found iundisclosed buyers who agreed to pay the price of $5.8 mill.This price is close to the $6 mill region that her one year younger sister ODIN BEY achieved on January
