INTERSASIA Lines has announced a new China-India direct service to be named ICI (Interasia-China-India) from the end of February.
ICI will run on 42 days round trip, with the following rotation Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shezhen-Shekou, Singapore, Port Kelang, Nhava Sheva (JNPCT), Mundra-Colombo, Penang, Port Kelang, Hong Kong and back to Qingdao.
The maiden voyage is expected westbound calling at Qingdao on 27th February 2016 and eastbound calling at Nhava Sheva on 16th March 2016, with a total of 6 vessels to be deployed by Interasia Lines jointly with Wan Hai Lines, Pacific International Lines and MOL.
This new loop, will provide shippers with more options of direct service between China and India via Strait area calling in both directions, said Interasia Lines.
