Inchcape opens 3rd office on the Amazon to meet owner-operator needs
INCHCAPE Shipping Services (ISS), a maritime services provider, has established a new office in Santarem, Para state, Brazil to tap growing demand for its services across the whole Amazon region and the economically booming South American nation.
The new office is the company's tenth in Brazil and third in the Amazon, where it already has offices in Manaus and Belem. Port manager Patrick Nogueira, who recently joined ISS to take the job, will manage the new office.
Said Brazil general manager Mariano Martinoia: "The new office will allow us to better serve our current break bulk and cruise lines client base, as well as explore new business opportunities in the region for dry bulk and grains."
