SINGAPORE's pop-up hotel The Container Hub has moved to new grounds at haw Par Villa's Carpark C, giving people the chance to vacation in a shipping container, reports Singapore's AsiaOne.
The hotel shifted to Haw Par Villa in December and will be there for a year according to founder and CEO Seah Liang Chiang.
Mr Chiang added that the location is very private, so there's no need to worry about nearby attractions.
The Container Hub consists of two 280-square-foot container units which have been repurposed and hooked up with plumbing and power.
Each container is US$200 per night and comes equipped with an ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning, two queen-size beds, and a kitchen.
Guests also have the option to add an extra foldable mattress for $50 per night and rent an electric table grill for $20.
Due to Covid crisis regulations, a maximum of five people are allowed in the container.
