Hapag-Lloyd BAF up US$150/TEU on North Asia-Oz run June 18
GERMANY's big container carrier Hapag-Lloyd will revise the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) effective June 18 to US$150 per TEU from June 18.
"We would like to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will revise the BAF applicable for all container shipments from north east Asia to Australia. North east Asia comprises Japan, Korea, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
