Hanjin Heavy Industries & Construction has cancelled a $101m newbuild contract for one containership from an unnamed ship owner.
The contact, which was received on 3 March 2005, was shelved because the ship owner failed to pay the deposit.
The South Korean shipyard has resold the cancelled ship to a third party, according to asiasis.com.
Hanjin previously cancelled a deal for three 6,500teu boxships, costing $99m each, with Greek ship owner Danaos.
