HONG Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has received the Grand Award in the 2022 Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA) Quality Awards.
The award followed a highly detailed submission and thorough judging process covering every aspect of Hactl's business, focusing on the numerous steps it has taken to maintain and enhance quality through its management systems, practices and policies.
Competition for the HKMA Quality Award is very strong, attracting entries from Hong Kong's largest businesses and multi-nationals in all business sectors, according to a company statement.
Hactl's chief executive Wilson Kwong said: 'Since 1976, hactl has kept global air cargo supply chains running, cementing Hong Kong's position as the number one cargo airport in the world. Being recognised with the Grand Award is a testament to our contribution to the international and local business communities, especially during the pandemic.'
He concluded: 'Hactl is Hong Kong's air cargo terminal. With your support, we shall continue to deliver world-class, quality service here in Hong Kong, a place we are so proud to call Home.'
It is the second time Hactl has won the HKMA Quality Award; the company previously achieved the accolade in 2010.
