A crew member of the 'Pacific Osprey', who was injured when part of a crane boom collapsed, was in a stable condition in hospital on Aug 27. Four other members of the crew who were treated after the accident have all returned home to continue their recovery. A specialist salvage team was meanwhile on site in Eemshaven to ensure the damaged crane was safe and secure before the jack-up us moved to an unnamed shipyard for repairs. A thorough investigation into the accident was underway by Swire Blue Ocean. The vessel was undergoing crane maintenance when the incident occurred, in a break from foundation installation duties at EnBW's 497MW Hohe See wind farm in the German North Sea. Image: EnBW
