The 'Gypsey Race' ran aground rescuing a woman who had become stranded trying to take pictures of dolphins. The crew on the Gdredging vessel spotted the woman clinging to the wall of Berwick Pier on Sep 2, 2018, at 08:30 a.m. and came to her aid. They managed to save her life but remained grounded on sand and rocks, remaining stuck until the next high tide at about 8 p.m. The Berwick's Coastguard Rescue Team and RNLI crews also helped the rescue effort.
