Death toll at 273, walls inside the wreck started to warp
Late on May 10 more two bodies were found on deck 4 and 5 of the "Sewol", bringing the confirmed death toll from the disaster to 273.
31 remained still unaccounted for. The more than 100 divers have swept through most of the ship, which is resting on its side at a depth of more than 40 meters.
The divers reported that partition walls on the ship have started warping and are at risk of collapsing, which would further complicate their work. Search efforts were hampered due to poor weather conditions on May 11.
A heavy wind watch was issued in the morning. While the divers have been kept out of the water since the wee hours of May 10 morning, around 20 submarine ships using sonar radars were conducting most of the searches, looking for bodies that may have been swept out of the ferry.
One of the floating buoys set up by authorities to track currents in the area was found as far as 35 kilometers away from the sinking site.
