CONTAINER shipping lines that make up the CKYH "Green Alliance," namely Cosco, "K" Line, Yang Ming and Hanjin Shipping, are reorganising their service network on Asia-North Europe and Asia-Mediterranean trade lanes.
The Green Alliance will be providing four loops (NE2, NE3, NE6 and NE7) for the Asia-North Europe route and three loops (MD1, MD2 and MD3) to serve the Asia-Mediterranean trades from early April.
According to a release issued by "K" Line, they will suspend the existing NE1 service and will not resume the NE4 service that was withdrawn in October 2012. But they will retain the NE1 and NE4 port coverage through new services.
"CKYH - the Green Alliance will continue to maintain the highest on-time schedule reliability in the industry, providing quality service to customers," the carrier said.
The port rotations for the affected Asia-North Europe loops are as follows. The NE2 will call at Xiamen, Kaohsiung, Shenzhen-Yantian, Singapore, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Felixstowe, Antwerp, Port Said, Singapore, Hong Kong and back to Xiamen.
The NE3 will call at Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Singapore, Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Hamburg, Antwerp, Hong Kong and return to Xingang.
NE6 will call at Xingang, Kwangyang, Busan, Shanghai, Xiamen, Shenzhen-Yantian, Singapore, Algeciras, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Le Havre, Algeciras, Singapore, Shenzhen-Yantian, Hong Kong and return to Xingang.
NE7 will call at Ningbo, Shanghai, Guangzhou-Nansha, Hong Kong, Singapore, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Antwerp, Singapore, Guangshou-Nansha, Shenzhen-Yantian, Kaohsiung and return to Ningbo.
The port rotations for the three Asia-Mediterranean loops for the MD1 is Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen-Yantian, Hong Kong, Guangzhou-Nansha, Singapore, Piraeus, La Spezia, Genoa, Barcelona, Valencia, Piraeus, Singapore, Hong Kong and back to Qingdao.
The MD2 rotation is Ningbo, Shanghai, Xiamen, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian, Singapore, Port Said, Ashdod, Genoa, Barcelona, Marseilles-Fos, Port Said, Singapore, Hong Kong and back to Ningbo.
The MD3 port rotation is Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian, Singapore, Port Said, Napoli, Livorno, La Spezia, Port Said, Singapore, Ho Chi Minh, Hong Kong, Shenzhen-Yantian and back to Ningbo.
