CARIBBEAN Airlines Cargo says it will accept shipments of earthquake and flood relief in Trinidad, sent from any of the carrier's North America, Caribbean and South America destinations, until midnight on November 23.
Packaged items that will be accepted by airline as relief supplies include towels, sheets and linens, large plastic storage containers, small kitchen appliances, canned food and openers, adult and baby diapers, personal items (deodorant, lotion, shampoo, feminine products) and school supplies, reported The Jamaica Star.
'Shipments must be properly packaged and clearly addressed to a specific recipient in Trinidad & Tobago, including first and last names, street name, house number and district,' the airline said.
These shipments will be subject to freight and handling charges levied by the airline. 'Air freight and handling charges must be prepaid by the shipper. All shipments will be subject to customs duties and taxes payable by the recipient upon arrival in Trinidad.'
