    Somali pirates have released the "Zirku" with 29 crew members on June 10, 2010.

    Somali pirates have released the "Zirku" with 29 crew members on June 10, 2010. The "Zirku" was hijacked on March 28, approximately 250 nautical miles southeast of Salalah in the eastern part of the Gulf of Aden on its way to Singapore from Bashayer, by two pirate skiffs firing RPGs and small arms. The crew is including one Croatian, one Iraqi, one Filipino, one Indian, three Jordanians, three Egyptians, two Ukrainians and 17 Pakistanis. The vessel when hijacked was registered with Maritime Security Center, Horn of Africa MSC (HOA), and was reporting to The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).
