In the product tanker segment, tanker and chemical vessel operator Pyxis Maritime purchased the MR tanker "BOX" (50,366 dwt, Built 2009) at a price of $35.5 million. Turkish shipowner Mehmet Emin Karamehmet's Geden Lines, sold BOX to Greek Pyxis Maritime. The sale price is reported to be 35.5 million U.S. dollars. Built in 2009 the Malta-flagged tanker is183 feet long and 32 meters wide. 50,542 DWT tankers with MAN B & W main machine, capable of 13 knots speed.
