On Apr 13, 2018, while maneuvering in Durban harbour, the car carrier 'CSCC Asia' pinned the tug 'Umhalali' to a jetty.
The car carrier had a pilot on board and sandwiched the tug which was hit at starboard side and pushed against the quay when the car carrier moved to the T-Jetty Point. The 'Umhalali' suffered serious damages, while the car carrier suffered slight, or no damages and left Durban on Apr 14, bound for Luanda, ETA Apr 20.
