On Aug 21 the craneship 'Sanne A' managed to open the gate to the floating dock in Hirtshals, so that it was possible to pull the trapped 'Hardhaus' out. Experts were now investigating the trawler for damage which was feared to be extensive trawler's bottom valves were open during the stay in the dock, so water has penetrated into the engine room. There has also been extensive damage to the floating dock. The trawler was berthed at the quay in the East basin 2 in Hirtshals, while experts started investigating the extent of the damage. The work was now concentrating on stabilizing the floating dock and getting it completely back on even keel so that it could also be investigated for damage.
