The 'Arctic' caught a towline in its propeller steering gear complex, while towing the barge 'Ark-12' at the 76-km mark on the Volga-Caspian Ship Canal, in the vicinity of Olya Roadstead, on Sep 17, 2018, at 07.40 a.m. At 08.25 a.m. the 'Arctic' anchored, in order to clear the propeller. At 10.30 p.m., the towing wire was removed and the line was reconnected, so that the tug and its barge could proceed towards its destination.
