Havila Shipping secures a 136-day charter with TotalEnergies for the Havila Heroy PSV, starting in March 2024, after previous work with Equinor.
Norwegian offshore vessel owner Havila Shipping has secured a new charter with French energy major TotalEnergies for one of its platform supply vessels, according to combined dispatches.
According to an Oslo Bors filing, TotalEnergies's Norwegian unit has hired the Havila Heroy for 136 days. The contract is scheduled to begin in the first half of March.
Havila Shipping stated that the vessel had previously been working for Equinor. In June 2024, Equinor contracted the Havila Heroy along with two other PSVs, the Havila Clipper and Havila Fano, for 12 months.
Those contracts, which started at the end of July 2024, included six optional one-month extensions. Havila Shipping did not disclose the financial terms of the new deal with TotalEnergies.
