The RAZOUK vessel, stranded off Kısırkaya, was refloated by the Coast Guard with multiple tugboats and teams, ensuring environmental safety.
The vessel named RAZOUK, which ran aground off Kısırkaya, a district of Sarıyer in Istanbul, was salvaged from its location through an operation coordinated by the General Directorate of Coastal Safety (KEGM).
As part of the salvage efforts, the tugboats KURTARMA-1, KURTARMA-6, KURTARMA-9, and KURTARMA-22 were dispatched to the area, while the KEGM-3, KEGM-9, and BAYRAK-1 boats, along with a land rescue team, were also deployed on-site throughout the operation.
As a result of the coordinated intervention by expert teams, the vessel was safely extracted from its position and refloated. During the operation, environmental safety was ensured, and no casualties or environmental pollution were reported in the area.
Authorities stated that necessary procedures would continue following technical inspections regarding the condition of the vessel.
