The General Directorate of Meteorology has reported that stormy winds are expected in the Northern Aegean on Monday, October 5, 2026.
According to the published marine forecast bulletin, the wind in the region is expected to blow from the north and northeast at a force of 4 to 6, and during the early hours of the day, it is forecasted to reach a force of 5 to 7.
Waves will reach up to 3 meters in some areas.
In the Aegean Sea, wave heights are expected to vary between 1.5 and 2.5 meters, with some areas in the northern parts reaching up to 3 meters.
The weather in the region will be partly and very cloudy. In the southern part of the Southern Aegean, there will be occasional showers and thunderstorms.
On Tuesday, the wind will weaken.
According to the Meteorology forecast for Tuesday, October 6, the wind in the Northern Aegean will blow from the north and northeast at a force of 3 to 5.
Wave heights in the Aegean are expected to be between 1 and 2 meters, with some areas in the northern parts reaching up to 2.5 meters. No storms are forecasted at sea on Tuesday.
