Samios Shipping Company SA has acquired the 35,300-dwt handysize bulk carrier Agia Pisti, enhancing its dry bulk fleet and growth strategy.
Greek shipowner Samios Shipping Company SA has acquired the 35,300-dwt handysize bulk carrier Agia Pisti, as reported by Denmark's Shipping Telegraph.
The vessel, built at Nantong Jinghua Shipbuilding, will be delivered to Samios Shipping, which was founded in 1973. The company stated that the ship represents a high-quality addition to its dry bulk fleet and aligns with its strategy of disciplined growth and investment in efficient tonnage.
Samios Shipping's core activity has traditionally been the operation of dry bulk carriers and general cargo ships.
According to company data, its fleet includes the dry bulk carriers Agios Nikolaos, Agia Dynami, and Agia Ypomoni, as well as the general cargo vessels Agia Doxa and Agios Fanourios.
