Russia's Agriculture Ministry assures that domestic food supply and exports remain stable, exploring alternative grain shipping routes due to regional tensions.
In a written statement from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, it was noted that the situation in the Sea of Azov would not affect food supply in the domestic market or Russia's exports.
The statement indicated that there is capacity for the shipment of agricultural products from different regions of Russia, and it was mentioned that logistics flows would be redirected if necessary.
The statement also conveyed that evaluations were being conducted with relevant institutions regarding alternative shipping routes.
The ports in and around the Sea of Azov hold significant importance among Russia's grain export routes, while the Ukrainian army has recently increased drone attacks on vessels and ports in the region.
