Police boat capsized after collision in China

On Apr 18, 2017, at 3 p.m. the "Yue Dian 57" was in collision with the 40-meter police boat "Zhongguohaijing 3062" near Nei island in the Pearl River estuary, Guangdong Province. The unloaded bulkcarrier was enroute from Guangzhou to Tianjin. The police boat, engaged in fighting fishing poachers, capsized, the eight crew members were rescued. The bulkcarrier anchored near the accident site, the police boat was salvaged by a sheerleg.
