    While working with the platform Sabratah of Mellita Oli & Gas in the Mediterranean Sea near Libyan waters, the 'Asso Ventotto' was ordered in the afternoon of July 30, 2018, to pick up migrants from an inflatable boat which was floating 1,5 miles off the platform, 57 miles from Tripoli

    While working with the platform Sabratah of Mellita Oli & Gas in the Mediterranean Sea near Libyan waters, the 'Asso Ventotto' was ordered in the afternoon of July 30, 2018, to pick up migrants from an inflatable boat which was floating 1,5 miles off the platform, 57 miles from Tripoli. Libyan Coast Guard officials boarded the platform and supervised operation. The tug picked up 101 migrants and sailed to Tripoli, escorted by Libyan patrol boat. After the migrants were safely disembarked in Tripoli, the tug sailed back to the platform.
