Coming from Sète, where she had sailed on Aug 29, 2018, the 'Britta K' suffered a breakdown of its propulsion off the Sanguinaires Islands near Ajaccio. The ship dropped anchor, and on Sep 1 the French offshore tug 'Ailette' (IMO:8104216) was deployed from Toulon to assist. It took the ship in tow in the morning of Sep 2 and pulled it towards St. Florent.
