Serving over 31 million passengers within a year through its services in the Marmara and Aegean Regions, IDO also transported 13 million vehicles during the same period, contributing significantly to the reduction of carbon emissions.
As Turkey's strong and reliable brand in maritime transportation, IDO continues to provide fast and uninterrupted solutions for the heavy traffic between the European and Anatolian sides. On the Sirkeci-Harem line, which operates 24/7, IDO safely transported 1.3 million passengers and 1.6 million vehicles between the two continents within a year, playing a significant role in maritime transport.
On the Eskihisar-Topçular line, IDO carries 22 million passengers and 9.8 million vehicles annually, making it a preferred choice by significantly shortening the distance between Gebze and Yalova, thus providing time and fuel savings.
SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTION TO REDUCING CARBON EMISSIONS
Closing 2025 with successes, IDO served over 31 million passengers throughout the year. By transporting a total of 13 million vehicles, it made a significant contribution to reducing road traffic and carbon emissions. With this transport volume, it also provided substantial additional contributions to the reduction of carbon emissions compared to the previous year. IDO, which steadily grew its operations in the Aegean Islands, managed to transport 220,000 passengers between the islands in the 2025 season. Compared to 2024, the company recorded an increase in both passenger and vehicle transportation, charting a strong upward trajectory with an additional increase of 2.2 million.
SENSITIVE APPROACH TO THE ENVIRONMENT, SOCIETY, AND EQUALITY
One of the most experienced brands in Turkey's maritime history, IDO does not limit its environmentally friendly approach to just transportation activities with its fleet of 50 vehicles. The company has raised environmental awareness by conducting two separate beach cleaning activities throughout the year.
One of IDO's social responsibility and equality-focused initiatives was the 'Leave a Mark with a Lid' campaign. Launched in collaboration with the Turkey Spinal Cord Paralytics Association and Equator Energy, the project involves collecting blue waste caps, thereby reducing environmental damage while supporting the participation of individuals with disabilities in social life through wheelchairs.
Throughout the year, IDO supported 14 events in various fields, standing out with its approach advocating for equal opportunities. Thanks to its initiatives that open up space for women in a male-dominated sector, it was awarded the 'Leaders of Equality' award by the Women's Platforms Association.
Notable for its advocacy of accessible piers and an animal-friendly approach, IDO launched the Consultation Service at its piers in collaboration with WeWalk, allowing visually impaired passengers to travel independently. This application has earned the brand new awards in the field of equal opportunities.
THE SHINING STAR OF THE AEGEAN ISLANDS
Having started maritime transportation activities to the Aegean Islands in 2024, IDO is preparing for its third season in response to increasing demands as it completes its second year.
In the 2025 season, IDO, which transported over 220,000 passengers, further strengthened its growth targets in the region with new lines. Diversifying its services to make the Aegean Islands more accessible and advantageous, IDO has already begun ticket sales for the Aegean Islands, offering early booking advantages to its passengers.
