A new partnership model has been established in the tourism sector. Honest Holding announced that it has joined forces with Wtatil, a leader in overseas tour operations. The two companies aim to enhance Turkey's competitiveness in the global market, in addition to their determination for joint growth. Within the framework of the new partnership structure, the flight network from Anatolia to abroad will be expanded, with a target of 200,000 seats in one year.
The long-discussed large-scale branding and partnership model in Turkey's tourism sector is coming to life with Honest Holding's initiative. In a statement from Honest Holding, it was announced that the company has partnered with Wtatil, one of the leading firms in Turkey's overseas tour organizations. This strategic partnership is positioned not only as a determination for growth by both companies but also as a structural transformation initiative aimed at increasing the competitiveness of Turkish tourism in foreign markets.
A massive operation with 200,000 seats in one year
Within the partnership of Honest Holding and Wtatil, a goal has been set to achieve an overseas tour operation with a capacity of approximately 200,000 seats during the 2026-2027 period. This structure, covering the Balkans, Europe, Egypt, the Middle East, and Far East markets, represents an unprecedented scale of planning in Turkey's outbound tour organizations. Wtatil, currently the leading company managing the highest volume of overseas tours in Turkey, aims to elevate this leadership to a higher league with Honest Holding's financial strength, investment vision, and integrated tourism infrastructure. The partnership structure, which combines Honest's global sales network with Wtatil's operational strength, also aims to transform the Wtatil brand into a global brand and expand it in the global market.
Expanding the direct flight network from Anatolia to abroad
With the partnership, there are plans to move overseas tours beyond an Istanbul-centric structure and establish a strong charter network spreading to Anatolia. The cities planned for direct flights include Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana, Antalya, Diyarbakır, Trabzon, Samsun, Konya, Kayseri, and Elazığ. This strategy will increase accessibility for passengers in Anatolia and provide B2C agencies with more products, stronger pricing, and higher sales volume.
