HEAVY lift company, Globalink Logistics, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) network for Kazakhstan, has completed the return of a giant crawling crane from Dushanbe, Tajikistan, to Alashankou, China, the company announced.

The crane was brought to Dushanbe on order of the president of Tajikistan to install the world's tallest flagpole. With a height of 541 feet, it was erected in the centre of Dushanbe, the capital.

After completing the installation, Globalink was tasked with moving the 700-tonne crane back to China.

With rail being the optimal solution, they proceeded with dismantling, crating and loading, after which export formalities were conducted rapidly and the entire shipment departed on time, said the company statement.
