On Sep 19,, 2018, the 'Roymar' caught fire 30 miles north of Burela. The crew of five fled into a raft and was rescued by the helicopter Pesca 2. They were taken to the Heliport Celeiro. The 'Salvamar Alioth' and the 'SAR Gavia' of Salvamento Marítimo in vain tried to extinguish the fire. At 3 p.m. the gutted wrack sank north of Ribadeo.
