The first official voyage on the Çanakkale-Limni Sea Route was successfully conducted on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from the Port of Çanakkale.
The Limni Express line, which provides maritime transportation between Çanakkale and Limni (Lemnos) Island in Greece, has officially commenced operations.
With the launch of regular services operated by the fast passenger vessel named KALIMNOS, a new era in international maritime transportation between Çanakkale and Limni Island has begun.
Prior to the voyage, passengers' passport and boarding procedures were completed smoothly at the Port of Çanakkale Passenger Terminal.
This new line further strengthens the Port of Çanakkale's strategic position in international passenger transportation in the Aegean Sea. It is expected that the line will significantly contribute to tourism activity, cultural interaction, and regional economic development between Turkey and Greece.
The first return voyage of the Limni Express line is scheduled for Friday, July 17, 2026, at 16:00 from Myrina Port on Limni Island to the Port of Çanakkale.
