On Jan 5, 2018, at 1 a.m. a person was lost over board the 'Amorella' in Swedish waters. Rescue services and other ships participated in the search, but the person has not been found.The ship did not call at Långnäs because of the incident and arrived at Turku about an hour late at 8.40 a.m. The Tallink Silja ferries 'Silja Serenade' and 'Baltic Queen', which also had participated in the SAR operation, called at Stockholm one resp. two hours later than scheduled.
