On June 24, 2018, the 'Trollfjord' assisted a recreational boat which had suffered engine trouble off Otterøya, and its crew of two. The 'Trollfjord' which had left Rørvik en route to Trondheim responded to the distress call and was first on scene at 10.30 p.m. There was strong wind in the area when the boaters asked for assistance. The ferry headed towards Otterøya and informed the Norwegian MRCC for Northern Norway. The NSSR lifeboat 'Harald V' also responded quickly and eventually took over the rescue mission. At 11.30 p.m. they took the boat in tow and got the situation under control. The yacht was pulled to Rørvik in rough seas. Photo: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DgfQz4hXccT7N.jpg
