GEMIMO ANNOUNCES VOTING DATE FOR THE 42ND ORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY

The Chamber of Marine Engineering and Machinery Operators (GEMIMO) has shared the schedule for the 42nd Ordinary General Assembly Meeting and the elections for the 43rd term organs with the public.
According to the statement from the Chamber, the General Assembly will convene on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the GEMIMO Headquarters in Kadıköy. The elections for the Management and Supervisory Boards of the 43rd term will take place on Sunday, April 12, 2026, between 09:00 and 17:00 at the same address.
In the event that a sufficient majority is not achieved in the first meeting, it was stated that the General Assembly will be held on Saturday, April 18, and the elections will be conducted on Sunday, April 19, again at the same place and times without the requirement for a majority.
The suspension process begins
The list of members and delegates for the elections will be posted at the General Headquarters starting from Sunday, April 5, at 09:00 and will be removed from the notice board on Tuesday, April 7, at 17:00. The Chamber emphasized that members with incomplete or incorrect identification information will not be able to vote, urging that the lists must be checked during the posting period. Any objections should be directed to the T.C. Istanbul/Kadıköy 3rd District Election Board Presidency.
What’s on the agenda?
After the election of the Presidency Board at the General Assembly, the 42nd term working report along with the financial and audit reports will be read and evaluated. The acquittal of the Management and Supervisory Boards, the discussion of the budget proposals for the 2026-2028 period, and the determination and announcement of the candidates for the 43rd term are also among the agenda items.
The meeting will be held at the GEMIMO Headquarters located at Sahrayıcedit Mahallesi Halk Sokak Golden Plaza No: 29 C Block Floor: 3 D: 6, Kadıköy/Istanbul.
