    Disabled bulkcarrier taken in tow in Indian Ocean

    The "Tina" suffered engine failure on Sep 13, 2017, in the Indian Ocean off South Africa, while en route from Rio Grande to Singapore. According to the AIS track, she encountered engine problems since Sep 3 in the Atlantic, managed to sail to the Indian Ocean and from Sep 9 until Sep 13 was moving in legs at a minimal speed off East London. On Sep 13 she was taken on tow by the offshore supply tug "Pacific Diligence" (IMO: 9631395), in order to be towed to Durban. As of 1130 UTC Sep 14, both vessels were in vicinity 32 45S 028 59E, destination Durban at a speed of about three knots.
