A delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs, led by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), held talks with the US-China Business Council (USCBC) and its member companies in Washington, D.C., reported Xinhua.
Representatives from Chinese and US enterprises across multiple industries attended the meeting and engaged in active exchanges. Ren Hongbin, chairman of the CCPIT, stated that the consensus reached by the two heads of state in Beijing has provided strategic guidance for practical cooperation.
Mr. Ren described the USCBC as both a historic friend and a current partner, noting its role in expanding economic and trade cooperation, strengthening people-to-people exchanges, and enhancing mutual understanding.
Looking ahead, Mr. Ren expressed that the CCPIT is ready to work with the USCBC to build more platforms for dialogue, foster a sound investment environment, deepen multilateral cooperation, and safeguard the stability of global supply chains.
US business representatives indicated that the American business community has long promoted bilateral exchanges. They noted that the APEC 'China Year' offers opportunities to deepen cooperation.
The China International Supply Chain Expo was highlighted as a key platform for practical cooperation, helping to strengthen industrial and supply chain ties between the two nations. US companies expressed eagerness to participate constructively and play an active role in bilateral cooperation.
