Arkas received the 'Highest Employment of Seafarers' award at the 5th Turkey Maritime Summit, marking its fourth recognition in this field.
In the 5th Turkey Maritime Summit held to mark the 100th anniversary of the Cabotage Law, Arkas was awarded the 'Most Employment of Seafarers' award.
The award was presented to Bernard Arkas, Vice Chairman of Arkas Holding, by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu on behalf of Arkas, which has been recognized for the fourth time in the field of seafarer employment.
The 5th Turkey Maritime Summit, organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure at Tersane Istanbul, brought together the maritime sector within the framework of the 100th anniversary of the Cabotage Law. The summit addressed the development of Turkish maritime trade, current issues in global maritime transportation, the future of ports, sustainability, and human resources in maritime.
During the Maritime Awards held as part of the summit, Arkas was deemed worthy of the 'Most Employment of Seafarers' award. With this award, Arkas has been recognized for the fourth time in the field of seafarer employment at the Turkey Maritime Summit. Previously, Arkas had received the 'Company Employing the Most Turkish Seafarers' award in 2022, 2024, and 2025.
