Almark Logistics enhances sea transport to Russia and Belarus by 45%, improving efficiency and offering competitive advantages to customers.

Almark Logistics increased its maritime transport to Russia and Belarus by 45% last year. The company's General Manager, Onur Güvenler, stated, 'The widespread use of 45-foot containers has significantly enhanced our operational efficiency, providing our customers with a significant competitive advantage.'

Almark Logistics, which stands out with effective logistics solutions in Russia, neighboring countries, and Turkish Republics, has increased the use of 45-foot containers in maritime transport to Russia and Belarus by 45% in the last year. Onur Güvenler, General Manager of Almark Logistics, noted that multimodal transport services to Russia and Belarus have developed significantly. Güvenler shared the following information regarding the efficiency gains achieved by transferring loads to 45-foot containers after bringing them to ports by road, especially in transit shipments:

'While establishing new agency agreements in maritime transport, we have started to offer more competitive freight rates with our commitments. Our transit customs clearance and operational processes have accelerated even further. We have seen significant increases, particularly in our transportation of vehicle and machinery spare parts. Overall, the widespread use of 45-foot containers on these routes has strengthened our operational efficiency in door-to-door deliveries and enabled us to offer a competitive advantage to our customers.'

The increased transport volume has also shortened transit times.

Güvenler expressed that they have achieved significant diversification and optimization in transport routes with the increased volume, stating that they have increased the number of shipowners they work with on the Novorossiysk and St. Petersburg routes from the Ambarlı, Gebze, İzmir, and Mersin regions.

Güvenler said, 'The number of our services has increased, and our transit times have shortened. In our transports to Russia and Belarus, we have implemented changes that offer new routes and time advantages at both our departure and arrival ports in line with the increasing demand.'

Provided cost and competitive advantages with flexibility.

Güvenler emphasized that their flexibility in load planning has increased with more frequent ship departures. He mentioned that they have introduced special trailers with high transport capacity on the roads within Russia, and they have achieved time and cost optimization through a 'shuttle' transport model between the warehouse, port, and final delivery points. Güvenler stated, 'We have also made significant updates in the domestic distribution network in Russia. We have strengthened our door-to-door transports, especially to major centers such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Rostov, Krasnodar, and Minsk in Belarus. This has provided our customers with cost and competitive advantages.'

Güvenler also noted that they have been undergoing a strong expansion process in the global market in recent years, highlighting that they have expanded their infrastructure in Europe and North America. He added that they are aiming for significant growth, particularly in American transports, and plan to open their own offices in the USA.
