CENTCOM's Admiral Cooper reveals significant Iranian military losses, including 130 ships, following recent U.S. strikes in the region.

A video message from CENTCOM Commander Admiral Brad Cooper regarding the latest situation on attacks against Iran was shared on the social media account of the U.S.-based X company by CENTCOM.

Cooper noted that the attack carried out by the U.S. military two days ago was the longest-range artillery strike in the history of ground forces combat, stating that military infrastructure belonging to Iran was targeted with precision-guided missiles.

Claiming that Iran has experienced significant losses in combat capability over the past three weeks, Cooper stated that thousands of Iranian missiles, advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and naval elements that he argued threatened international maritime transport have been neutralized.

Cooper asserted that Iran's capacity to use missiles and UAVs has seriously diminished compared to the beginning of the conflict, saying, 'So far, we have struck over 8,000 military targets, including 130 vessels belonging to Iran. This represents the largest destruction of a navy in a three-week period since World War II.'

Claiming that they have established 'the world's most comprehensive air defense umbrella' in the Middle East, Cooper stated, 'Especially our Gulf partners have clearly demonstrated the strength of our partnerships by defending against thousands of Iranian UAV attacks.'

Cooper mentioned that they conducted attacks on Iran's capabilities in the Strait of Hormuz and its surroundings this week, asserting that this has reduced Iran's ability to 'threaten freedom of navigation' in that region.

Israel and the U.S. launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between Tehran and the Washington administration.

In response, Iran carried out attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where U.S. bases are located, in addition to Israel.
