The AGN Ragnar, damaged in a drone attack while leaving Sulina Port, has arrived in Zonguldak for inspection and potential repairs.
On July 25, the cargo ship AGN Ragnar, which was leaving Ukraine's Sulina Port, was attacked, resulting in significant damage to the living quarters and the bridge. A fire broke out on the ship following the attack, and the crew was evacuated. It was claimed that the ship was targeted by a drone.
The tugboat Ramazan Bey began towing the aforementioned ship towards Turkish territorial waters as of yesterday. The ship anchored off the coast of Zonguldak in the evening hours.
It was learned that the ship, which is part of the Istanbul-based AGN Ship Management fleet, is approximately 90 meters long and previously operated under the name 'Mercy.' It joined the AGN Ship Management fleet in 2025.
The damage caused by the fire in the living quarters of the Palau-flagged ship was documented. It was suggested that the ship would be towed to a shipyard after inspections.
