Mersin Marina's 2025 sustainability report emphasizes waste management and transparency, welcoming over 10 million visitors.
Mersin Marina, which continues its efforts to protect the Eastern Mediterranean basin, has published its sustainability report for the year 2025 on its website. According to the report, a total of 142,712.2 kg of solid waste, 3,010 liters of bilge water, 250,000 liters of waste oil, and 642,370 liters of gray water have been collected and delivered to contracted companies, hosting more than 10 million people.
Operating since 2011 with the concept of a city marina, Mersin Marina has released its sustainability report for 2025 on its website. The report, which includes not only waste quantities but also awareness-raising activities, aims for transparent communication with stakeholders. Mersin Marina, which continues its efforts to protect the Eastern Mediterranean basin, had previously published its sustainability report in 2024, marking a first in the industry, and shared its efforts transparently with the public. In this year's second report, a new target has been added to the established goals, expanding corporate sustainability; the social, environmental, and economic dimensions have been detailed.
According to the report, Mersin Marina hosted a total of 10,219,342 people in 2025 and initiated two new events along with three awareness-raising activities. Additionally, the investment in the Solar Power Plant (GES), expected to be completed in 2026, was also included in the report. According to the 2025 data, a total of 142,712.2 kg of solid waste, 3,010 liters of bilge water, 250,000 liters of waste oil, and 642,370 liters of gray water were collected and delivered to contracted companies at Mersin Marina.
