In the last 3 days, 15 vessels passed through the Strait of Hormuz, primarily bulk carriers and tankers, indicating ongoing traffic limitations.
According to MarineTraffic data, ship traffic in the Strait of Hormuz continues to remain limited.
It has been determined that 15 vessels have passed through the strait in the last 3 days, of which 8 were bulk carriers, 5 were tankers, and 2 were LPG carriers.
Eighty-seven percent of the transits occurred in the direction of exiting the strait, with many vessels following 'unusual routes' by passing through Iranian territorial waters.
Only 13% of the vessels that passed through the strait in the last 3 days entered the Gulf. This situation indicates that the imbalance in traffic flow continues.
While the military attacks initiated by the United States and Israel against Iran on February 28 continue, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps has reported that the Strait of Hormuz is effectively closed to vessels associated with these countries.
