    Tüpraş enhances crude oil transport with four new Suezmax vessels from South Korea, investing over $370 million by 2029.

    Tüpraş will increase its crude oil transportation capacity with four new Suezmax type vessels to be constructed in South Korea. The total investment amount for the vessels, which is expected to exceed 370 million dollars, is planned to be delivered by the end of 2029.

    Continuing its investments to meet Turkey's energy needs uninterruptedly, Tüpraş will strengthen its maritime transportation fleet with four new Suezmax type vessels. Each vessel will have a carrying capacity of approximately 157,000 DWT and will be built in South Korea. The total investment amount for the vessels is expected to exceed 370 million dollars, with the goal of integrating them into the fleet by the end of 2029.

    Tüpraş is preparing to add four new Suezmax type vessels to its fleet to increase its crude oil transportation capacity.

    According to a statement from the company, each of the vessels to be built in South Korea will have a carrying capacity of approximately 157,000 DWT.

    The total investment amount for the four vessels is planned to exceed 370 million dollars, with delivery scheduled by the end of 2029.

    FOUR NEW VESSELS TO BE BUILT IN SOUTH KOREA

    Tüpraş continues its investment journey initiated across the entire value chain within the scope of its vision 'Our Energy for the Future.'

    In this context, the company will make an investment in four new Suezmax type vessels to enhance its maritime transportation and logistics capacity.

    Each of the vessels planned to be constructed in South Korea will have a carrying capacity of approximately 157,000 DWT.

    INVESTMENT AMOUNT WILL EXCEED 370 MILLION DOLLARS

    The total investment Tüpraş will make for the four new vessels is expected to exceed 370 million dollars.

    The new vessels are planned to be delivered gradually by the end of 2029.

    With the addition of the vessels to the fleet, Tüpraş aims to achieve a significant increase in its crude oil transportation capacity.

    DITAŞ REACHED THE LARGEST TURKISH FLAG TANKER FLEET

    Ditaş, a subsidiary of Tüpraş operating in maritime transportation and logistics, had previously added the T. Riva tanker to its fleet.

    With this delivery, Ditaş became the company with the largest Turkish-flagged tanker fleet in the 100th year of Turkish Cabotage and the Koç Group.

    The addition of the new Suezmax type vessels will further expand the company's maritime transportation capacity.

    CAPACITY IN OIL TRANSPORTATION WILL INCREASE

    Tüpraş aims to increase its capacity in crude oil transportation through the new vessels.

    The company also aims to elevate its competitiveness in national and international maritime transportation to a higher level.

    The new tankers are planned to be used in crude oil procurement from different countries and in the company’s logistics operations.

    TÜPRAŞ'S CRUDE OIL PROCESSING CAPACITY IS 30 MILLION TONS

    Tüpraş continues its operations at its four refineries located in Izmit, Izmir, Kırıkkale, and Batman.

    The annual total crude oil processing capacity at these refineries is at the level of 30 million tons.

    With this capacity, Tüpraş ranks as the seventh largest refinery company in Europe and is one of the most complex refineries in the Mediterranean basin.

    SUPPLYING CRUDE OIL FROM 31 DIFFERENT TYPES IN 16 COUNTRIES

    As of last year, Tüpraş supplied crude oil from 16 different countries, including Turkey.

    The number of types of crude oil supplied by the company during this period was 31.

    Tüpraş exports its production to markets in various regions of the world, primarily in Europe and Africa.

    COMPETITIVENESS WILL BE INCREASED WITH FLEET INVESTMENTS

    The addition of the four new Suezmax type vessels to the fleet will strengthen Tüpraş's energy supply and maritime transportation activities.

    While increasing its crude oil transportation capacity with investments exceeding 370 million dollars, the company also aims to enhance its competitiveness in international logistics activities.

    With the delivery of the new vessels by the end of 2029, a significant growth in the carrying capacity of the Tüpraş fleet is targeted.
