    Transport Minister Uraloğlu confirms 11 Turkish ships have safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz since the onset of the war.

    Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu stated, 'Since the beginning of the war, 11 Turkish-owned vessels have safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz and left the Gulf.'

    In a statement made via his social media account, Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu said, 'We are closely monitoring developments in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf, and we are in constant contact with the vessels and our citizens in the region. Most recently, with the departure of 2 of our vessels on the morning of June 21, a total of 11 Turkish-owned vessels have safely passed through the Strait of Hormuz since the beginning of the war and left the Gulf. Currently, 177 of our citizens are serving on a total of 7 vessels in the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf, one of which is flying the Turkish flag. We continue to take all necessary measures to ensure the safety of our citizens and our vessels under all circumstances.'
