"Armarin 3" Went Aground in Sinop Yesterday the storm that hit Mugla and Antalya, has been effective since two days in the Black Sea. In Turkish city Sinop a dry cargo ship ran aground due to storm.
"Armarin 3" cargo ship, carrying cranes to Giresun from Istanbul, was anchored off Sinop 2 days ago.
The ship, can not enter into the port because of severe storm and as anchor chain broke, dragged aground at Kumkapi area.
9 of the crew, trying to save 191 gross tons vessel with their own resources.
Harbour master of Sinop, Alpay Kazim, said the ship's captain had requested tug.For the moment, he added that there is a dangerous situation.
Recovery is expected to work when the storm calmed.
