Arkas Shipping becomes the representative for UAFL (United Africa Feeder Line) in Turkey, while Arkas Hellas becomes the UAFL representative in Greece.
After providing agency services for large shipping companies in Turkey for over 30 years, Arkas Shipping began administering agency services for UAFL in October. At the same time, Arkas Hellas became UAFL’s agent in Greece. With its primary transfer port located in Jebel Ali, UAFL provides service on a route from Turkey to Port Said, Jebel Ali and on to Africa. The primary service that Arkas Shipping will use on this line will be the Middle East Express Service, which calls at the ports of Zanzibar, Mutsamudu, Longoni, Tanga and Mombasa. Mutsamudu provides connections to other ports (Maroni-Majunga-Nosy Be-Tulear-Quelimane-Pemba).
