SEATTLE's Alaska Air Group increased April traffic 0.4 per cent increase on a 0.1 per cent decrease in capacity year on year, reported the American Journal of Transportation.
Load factor increased 0.4 points to 84.7 per cent, said the company. Operational results on a consolidated basis included mainline operations of it units Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air Industries, SkyWest Airlines and Peninsula Airlines, a subsidiary of Ravn Air Group.
Mainline reported a 0.9 per cent decrease in traffic on a 1.3 per cent decrease in capacity compared to April 2018. Load factor increased 0.3 points to 85.1 per cent. Mainline also reported 83.7 per cent of its flights arrived on time in April 2019, compared to 83.4 per cent reported in April 2018.
Regional traffic increased 14.6 per cent on a 12.2 per cent increase in capacity compared to April 2018. Load factor increased 1.7 points to 81.1 per cent. Alaska?s regional partners also reported 88.4 per cent of flights arrived on time in April 2019, compared to 85.6 per cent in April 2018.
